Configure Thunderbird with Hotmail

Download and Install Thunderbird

Open Thunderbird

Go to Tools -> Account Settings

Click on Account Actions Button and Click Add Mail Account

Fill All the required Details like Your Name, Mail Id and Password

Click On Continue

as its completed

again go to Account Settings Window

In left side of the window click on Server Settings

Check the Server Name and Port, it must be pop3.live.com and port 995

Connection Security must be SSL/TLS

no go to Outgoing Server (SMTP)

Click on Edit

Server Name must be smpt.live.com and port will be 25

Connection Security STARTTLS

Authentication Method Normal Password

username will be your full email id and click ok.
