Android Application Backup Without using any backup application

your mobile have to be rooted.

after installing root browser open Root Browser

How to Root Xperia Arc/Arc S

(Do It at Your Own Risk)

Download full package of applications required to root device from :

now settings required for phone :

(1) go to settings -> Display -> Sleep -> 10 mins.
(2) go to settings -> Developer Options -> Enable Usb Debugging
(3) go to settings -> Xperia -> Connectivity -> Usb Connection Mode -> Mass Storage Mode (MSC)
(4) go to settings -> Security -> Enable Unknows Sources


Start Rooting Your Phone :

(1) Install Flash tool
(2) Install Adb Drivers (its in C:\Flashtool\drivers\Flashtool-drivers.exe)
(3) go to C:\Flashtool\firmwares and delete all files
(4) Copy and Paste lt18i_LT18_4.1.A.0.562_kernel only.ftf to C:\Flashtool\firmwares
(5) Now Start Flash tool
(6) Click on Flash Icon
(7) Selcect Flash Mode and click OK
(8) After completing this disconnect you phone and exit from Flash tool.
(9) Restart Your Phone and reconnect it with PC
(10) Now unzip Xperia-ICS-ROOT-emu-busybox-su.zip go to extracted folder and right click on      runme.bat, click on run as administrator
(11) as this process will complete it will automatically restart your phone
(12) Now go to C:\Flashtool\firmwares and delete all files
(13) Copy and Paste LT18i_4.1.B.0.587_Kernel.ftf
(14) Follow step 5,6 & 7
(15) Your Phone has been ROOTED completely

Remove Shortcut VIRUS from your Pendrive or Usb Storage

open command prompt if you are using vista/win7 open it as administrator.

now type below command

       attrib -r -h -s  /s /d h:\*.*

Install Internet Explorer on Ubuntu 12.04

If you want to install Internet Explorer on Ubuntu you can install using wine or playonlinux which are front-end utilities to install windows executable files in Linux.

To install PlayOnLinux in Ubuntu using Terminal follow the below steps :

Use Internet Proxy in Android Emulator

follow the steps and you can use the internet in Android Emulator over proxy

go to Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names

in Access Point Names you can see default APN with the name TelKil click on that,

now you can see the list of settings

click on Proxy and edit your proxy server ip and click ok
click on Port and edit your proxy server port and click ok

Create AVD in Eclipse JUNO

go to Run -> Run Configuration

it will open Run Configuration Window

In Left side of Window there is option of

Android Application, Double click on that.

Now in Right Side Click on Target

Now got down side, and click on Manager

Create Your AVD and its done. create avd,create avd in eclipse juno,eclipse juno,juno

Configure Android SDK on Eclipse JUNO in Ubuntu

Download Eclipse Juno from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/

After Downloading extract file.

make one Directory with any name mine is EclipseAndroid

Copy and Paste Extracted eclipse directory to it.

Open Eclipse

go to Help -> Install New Software

Click on Add
in Name give any Name
in site paste this url : "http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse" and click ok

it will download the ADT Plug-ins and install it.
it will ask for restarting Eclipse press No and exit Eclipse.

Now download Android SDK from

http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

extract the file and paste it to EclipseAndroid Directory.

Start Eclipse and go to Windows -> Prefrences and set the path of Android Sdk

it will start downloading and installing all the required plug-ins and tools for android development.

After doing all these need to set the PATH in .profile
